OROSOL® Chemicals LLP has established a research and development center to provide technical support to the company and solve any concerns related to large-scale production.
The whole R & D center of OROSOL® Chemicals LLP covers an area of over 200 acres, with six research and development buildings, six glass equipment pilot workshops ranging from 20L to 50L, and 12 standard pilot workshops ranging from 100L to 5000L. It is equipped with facilities such as electricity, steam, refrigeration, water supply and drainage, sewage treatment, and fire protection.
Each R&D building is divided into three functional blocks: R&D center, analysis and testing center, and administrative center. In addition to conventional experimental equipment, the R&D center is also equipped with special experimental equipment such as high-pressure reaction vessels, low-temperature reaction baths (-100℃), and adjustable reflux ratio high-efficiency distillation devices (theoretical number of trays 60). The analysis and testing center has various analytical and testing instruments such as gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, polarimeter, moisture analyzer, melting point analyzer, conductivity analyzer, spectrophotometer, etc. Among them, imported instruments such as Agilent and Shimadzu are mainly used for gas and liquid chromatography. In addition to conventional gas and liquid chromatography, the analysis and testing center is also equipped with high-end instruments such as gas chromatography with headspace sampler and automatic sampler, liquid chromatography with PDA detector and automatic sampler, and preparative liquid chromatography with component automatic collection function. In addition, the analysis and testing center is equipped with dedicated liquid chromatography and chiral chromatography columns for chiral analysis. In addition to dozens of reaction vessels made of various materials such as enamel, stainless steel, and carbon steel with capacities ranging from 100L to 5000L, the pilot plant is also equipped with distillation towers, centrifuges, pressure filtration tanks, precision filters, low-temperature freezing baths, high-temperature hot oil baths, and other equipment. In addition, the pilot workshop is equipped with a set of low-temperature reaction equipment that can perform reactions at temperatures as low as -100℃, as well as multiple sets of medium and low-pressure hydrogenation reaction equipment (pressure less than 10MPa).
OROSOL® Chemicals LLP attaches great importance to talent team building and has a high-quality R&D team. The composition of R&D personnel is reasonable, with more than 60% of the total personnel having doctoral or master’s degrees, and the rest of the personnel having bachelor’s degrees or above in relevant majors. The company has established long-term cooperative relationships with key universities in China and regularly conducts project, technical, and talent exchanges to maintain strong R&D capabilities.
OROSOL® focuses on technological innovation and is committed to the research and development of synthesis processes, product production, and technology promotion for various chemical products. After years of development, the company has accumulated rich experience in process research and development, pilot production, and other aspects of chemical products. It has successfully carried out large-scale production of hundreds of products. At present, the OROSOL® Chemicals R&D Center laboratory can synthesize products on a gram to kilogram scale, the glass equipment pilot workshop can produce products on a kilogram to hundred kilogram scale, the pilot workshop can produce products on a hundred kilogram to ton scale, and larger scale production can be completed in the OROSOL production workshop. Therefore, the company is fully capable of meeting customer needs in all aspects of product production scales.
